SRI LANKA ZOOLOGÍA:KUM02 KANDY (SRI LANKA) 06/05/08.- Una mariposa posada en una flor en un jardín de Kandy, a 129 kilómetros de Colombo (Sri Lanka) hoy martes 6 de mayo. Varias especies de mariposas son endémicas de Sri Lanka y hace poco se descubrieron nuevas especies en Ratnapura. Estos insectos ocupan un lugar especial en los corazones de los ceilaneses ya que la cumbre sagrada de Sri Padha o Pico de Adán es conocido también comunmente como Samanala Kanda o "montaña mariposa".
