Las flores de primavera de Namaqualand son mundialmente famosas, aunque la temporada 2010 ha sido una de las más secas de los últimos cinco años y ha producido sólo una fracción del número habitual de flores silvestres que generalmente se pueden observar durante este período. La mayoría de las flores pertecen a las especies de margaritas. El Parque Nacional Namaqua se estableció para proteger este fenómeno único.EFE/NIC BOTHMA
